Coaches

Vince McLeod IV

Picture
Head Coach Vince is stepping into his first season with UCI Rugby.  He played all of his Rugby in England (Kings College London & Merton). Unfortunately, upon returning to the States, a freak accident ended his playing career.  He has Coached at all levels (youth, College, Men's 7s) including Play Rugby USA in Downtown Los Angeles.  He is a USA Rugby certified Coach and continues his education (CEU's) through the IRB with plans to develop onto the L3/PhD track.  Primarily a backs specialist and administrative manager, Coach Vince brings a unique and fresh approach to the game and often sights Declan Kidney (Ireland) as his role model in Rugby Coaching.  Ask him on any given day and he will claim he is 100% Scottish,
despite being born in Los Angeles!
